Circular To Jamaat Members On The Occasion Of Ashara 1423
Monday 11 March 2002 / 27 Zilhaj al-Haraam 1422H
The auspicious days of Ashara Mubaraka have arrived once again bringing with them the barakaat that only the remembrance of Imam Husain (AS) and his shahadat for the sake of Mumineen can bring.
For the year 1423H, Aqamoula, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) has chosen, by the ilhaam of Imam-ul-zamaan (AS), the city of Indore in India for the commemoration of Ashara. Mumineen in tens and hundreds of thousands will arrive in Indore to partake the barakaat that comes only from Imam Husain's Dai as he performs the zikr of the tragedy of Karbala. London mumineen are ardently encouraged to be part of that assembly and go to Indore for Ashara. We especially urge those who have never before participated in an Ashara with Aqamoula (TUS) to do so and realise for themselves the experience that leaves all those that have done so with the wish to do so again and again year after year.
For Mumineen in London, Molanal-min'aam has, with his considerable and continuing nazaraat upon London mumineen, bestowed us with the magnificent shaan of appointing his beloved Shahzada Aaliwaqar Shahzada Qusai Bhaisaheb Vajihuddin (DM) to perform waaz here. No amount of shukr can do justice for this remarkable nemat and honour, nevertheless it behove us to offer sajadaat of shukr and ubudiyyat in Hazrat Imamiyah Nooraniyah.
Mumineen mukhliseen, muminaat and their children are urged to heed Aqamoula's (TUS) call for daily attendance before time in waaz majalis - a call reinforced by the appointment of his eminent Shahzada for conducting waaz in London.
We should all pay particular heed to Aqamoula's (TUS) desire and specific farmaan that mumineen with their own businesses close their businesses during waaz and those in service take all necessary leave for the nine day duration of Ashara. Parents should also take any necessary leave for children and youngsters in schools and colleges.
This is a time to forget worldly matters in their entirety and focus wholly on the remembrance of Imam Husain (AS) and the Shohodaa of Karbala. In that remembrance alone is our prosperity in both this life and the next.
May Allah T'aala grant our beloved Aqamoula (TUS), a long and healthy life for as long as the zikr of Imam Husain (AS) remains. Ameen.
Dr Idrisbhaisaheb Zainuddin (Aamil),
Members of Anjuman-e-Burhani (London)
