THE 90th MILAD MUBARAK PROCESSION

A horsedrawn carriage is set up for Huzurala (TUS) for the procession. Daniyal Shk. Yunus Abdulqader leads the procession on a horse. Children on the back of a decorated truck throw sweets to the crowd.

Among the bands which took part in the procession was a lively jazz band. The banner declares this procession in honour of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin's (TUS) 90th Milad Mubarak. Mumineen gather all around to catch a glimpse of Huzurala (TUS) in the horse drawn carriage.

Flanked by an RAF officer and a French soldier (not shown), Aqa Moula's (TUS) carriage is truly the carriage of a king. The Burhani Scouts band marches in honour of Huzurala's (TUS) milad mubarak. The children of Qasr-e-aali enjoy the festivities in an open top Mercedes.

Undaunted by the prospect of rain, mumineen file into the grounds of al-Masjid al-Husayni in the hope of deedar mubarak. The grooms, Daniyal Shk. Yunus Abdulqader and Adnan Shk. Shabbir Abidali, lead the parade to its conclusion -- al-Masjid al-Husayni. Mumineen are graced with Aqa Moula's (TUS) nazr mubarak as he enters the ceremonial entrance of the masjid.
