THE 90th MILAD MUBARAK PROCESSION

A horsedrawn carriage is set up for Huzurala (TUS) for the procession.

Daniyal Shk. Yunus Abdulqader leads the procession on a horse.

Madrassah children throw fruit and sweets to the crowd.

Among the bands which took part in the procession was a lively jazz band.

The banner declares this procession in honour of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin's (TUS) 90th Milad Mubarak.

Mumineen gather all around to catch a glimpse of Huzurala (TUS) in the horse drawn carriage.

Flanked by an RAF officer and a French soldier (not shown), Aqa Moula's (TUS) carriage is truly the carriage of a king.

The Burhani Scouts band marches in honour of Huzurala's (TUS) milad mubarak.

The children of Qasr-e-aali enjoy the festivities in an open top Mercedes.

At the heart of the parade is Moulana's (TUS) carriage.

Undaunted by the prospect of rain, mumineen file into the grounds of al-Masjid al-Husayni in the hope of deedar mubarak.

The grooms, Daniyal Shk. Yunus Abdulqader and Adnan Shk. Shabbir Abidali, lead the parade to its conclusion -- al-Masjid al-Husayni.

Mumineen are graced with Aqa Moula's (TUS) nazr mubarak as he enters the ceremonial entrance of the masjid.
